Frontier Airlines will fly to Liberia beginning February 2011

Frontier Airlines this morning announced its plan to open a new route between Denver, Colorado and international airport Daniel Oduber located in Liberia, Guanacaste.

 

Local media which quote high Frontier Airlines executives indicate that its first flight will be carried out Feb. 13 of next year and their last August 21 of the same year. Their Boeing will operate only once a week on Sundays. This kind of service is known as “seasonal service” according to the same sources.

 

“This flight to Liberia is a great compliment to our successful service to San Jose and now will provide our customers with greater flexibility to enjoy all of Costa Rica’s natural beauties ” said Daniel Shurz, vice president of strategy and planning of Republic Airways Holdings Inc owner of Frontier Airline

 

Frontier currently flies once a day between Denver airport terminals and Juan Santamaria in Alajuela. The incoming flight from Denver arrives at Juan Santamaria´s airport seven days a week , at 6: 20 and returns to the USA at 7: 20 am.

 

An A319 airplane with a capacity of 136 people is used in this last route.
